This volume of rectangular prisms cross number puzzle helps students practice finding the volume of rectangular prisms. Dimensions include fractions and decimals, so students should be comfortable with fraction and decimal operations. There are 25 problems.
How It Works:
This activity works like a crossword puzzle, but students fill in numbers instead of letters. Students solve each Across and Down problem and record their answers in the puzzle. The puzzle is self-checking, because answers that don’t fit help students spot and correct mistakes. It can be completed independently or with a partner, with one partner completing the Across problems and the other completing the Down problems.
