This quadratic functions activity provides Algebra 2 students with engaging practice matching the graph, vertex form, and standard form of a quadratic function. There are 30 total cards. Once matched, there will be 10 sets of three cards, and each set contains one graph, one equation in standard form, and one equation in vertex form.
How It Works:
Students can work on their own or in teams to match the cards. Once they are finished, they can either staple their “triples” together and place them in a zip-lock bag, or paste them onto a poster board. An answer key is included to ensure the cards are matched together properly.
Ways to Use It:
This triples activity works well as independent practice, partner or small group work, a review before a quiz or test, or a low-prep sub plan during your quadratic functions unit.
