This Simplifying Expressions Triples Activity is a Triples activity in which students practice simplifying expressions by distributing and combining like terms. The activity includes 30 cards, arranged into 10 sets of 3 matching cards, putting a fun twist on traditional task cards.
Students can work independently, with a partner, or in small groups to simplify each expression. Once all expressions have been simplified, students cut out the cards and match them into their 10 sets of “triples.”
An answer key is included for easy checking.
