This Systems of Equations Triples Activity is a Triples activity in which students practice solving systems of equations by graphing, substitution, and elimination. This activity puts a fun twist on traditional task cards while giving students plenty of practice with all three methods.
The activity includes 24 cards, arranged into 8 sets of 3 matching cards. Students solve each system using the specified method and then identify the three cards that have the same solution.
This activity can be completed individually or with a partner. Once students have solved all 24 systems, they cut out the cards, match them into their 8 sets of “triples,” and staple each set together.
