Students will practice solving systems of equations by graphing, substitution, and elimination with this “Triples” Activity. There are 24 total cards in which students must solve the system of equation using the specified method. There are 8 sets of 3 cards with the same answer. I created this activity as a twist on the classic task cards.
This activity can be done individually or with a partner. Once they have solved all the equations, I have them cut them out, staple all their “triples” together, and put them in a bag.
