Students will practice matching a piecewise function to its graph and its corresponding domain and range with this “Triples” Activity. This activity includes linear, quadratic, and exponential functions. There are 36 total cards. Once matched, there will be 12 sets of three cards: a card with the piecewise function, a card with the graph, and a card with the domain and range. *An interval notation option is included as well for domain and range.
Once students have found all the triples, I have my students staple their “triples” together and place in a zip-lock bag. They could also write down the card numbers and submit this. I included an answer key to use to ensure the correct cards are matched.
