This flip book provides a compact way for students to review and practice transformations , including translations, reflections, rotations, dilations, and sequences of transformations). All rotations and dilations are centered at the origin The topics are divided into the following 5 tabs:
• Reflections
• Translations
• Rotations
• Dilations
• Identifying Transformations and Writing Rules
Reflections include the x-axis, y-axis, y = x, and vertical/horizontal lines. Rotations include 90º, 180º, and 270º (all counterclockwise) about the origin. All dilations use the origin as the center of dilation.
This activity works well as a review before a unit test, or as a refresher at the end of the year. Directions for printing and answer key included.
