Students will practice solving two-variable and three-variable systems of equations using Cramer’s Rule with this cut and paste puzzle. This activity includes 6 two-variable systems and 6 three-variable systems.
A system of equations is given in the center of each box. Students find the determinant of the coefficient matrix along the bottom edge and the value of one of the variables along the right edge. They cut out the squares and rearrange so the edges meet with corresponding answers and paste them onto a template. A template to paste the solution and answer key included. The box letters make it easy for students to organize their work AND make it easier to grade!
