Students will practice finding the common difference or certain terms of an arithmetic sequence given characteristics of the sequence with this cut and paste puzzle. Characteristics given include the first four terms, two random terms, first term and the common difference, random term and the common difference, or first term/nth term/common difference.
Students use the information about an arithmetic sequence given in the center of the square to find two other characteristics along the edges. Then, they cut out the squares and rearrange so the edges meet with corresponding answers and paste them onto a template. A template to paste the solution and answer key included. The box letters make it easy for students to organize their work AND make it easier to grade!
