Students will practice solving quadratic equations with this set of cut & paste puzzles. Student solve the equations along the edges, then cut out the squares and rearrange so the edges meet and paste onto a template.
Four different puzzles are included:
- Version 1: Solving by Factoring
- Version 2: Solving by Square Roots (both rational and irrational solutions)
- Version 3: Solving by Completing the Square (rational solutions only)
- Version 4: Solving by the Quadratic Formula (both rational and irrational solutions)
Irrational answers for the square roots puzzle are given in simplest radical form. Irrational answers for the quadratic formula puzzle are rounded to the nearest hundredth. A template to paste and answer keys to all four versions included.
