This Pythagorean Theorem challenge puzzle activity includes three challenge puzzles that help students practice finding missing side lengths in right triangles using the Pythagorean Theorem. Each puzzle is one giant figure made up of connected right triangles, so students use the side lengths they find to unlock the next measures. All answers are rounded to the nearest hundredth.
How It Works:
Students find each missing measure and record it on the answer sheet. Because the triangles share sides, one mistake affects later answers, which encourages careful, accurate work. Challenge puzzles work well for review days, early finishers, extra credit, or enrichment.
