This is the digital version of my Exponents & Exponential Functions Review Escape Room Activity, designed for use in Google Slides™. This exponential functions escape room is an engaging, no-prep way for students to review the concepts taught throughout an exponents and exponential functions unit in Algebra 1.

The 6 challenges cover simplifying expressions with exponent rules (including the Product, Power, and Quotient Rules, negative exponents, and combining like terms), operations with scientific notation, graphs of exponential functions (domain, range, y-intercept, and asymptotes), exponential growth and decay applications, geometric sequences, and simplifying radicals (square roots, cube roots, and monomial expressions).

How It Works:

Each challenge puzzle reveals a 3-digit, 4-digit, or 5-letter code. Students work through the problems right in Google Slides™, enter their codes, and move on to the next challenge until they’ve cracked them all. When they’re finished, students can share the completed activity back with you for review. An answer key is included.

What You’ll Receive:

Once purchased, you will receive a PDF document with a link and directions for adding the activity to your Google Drive™. You and your students will need a free Google account to access the activity. Once it’s added to your Drive, you can make copies and share the activity with your students. Also included are an optional Google Form™ that students can use to check their codes on their own and a video that explains how to complete each challenge.

Please note: Digital Google Slides™ activities are sold separately from the curriculum bundles. The printable PDF version of this activity is included in the corresponding curriculum/activity bundle, or you can purchase the printable Exponents & Exponential Functions Review Escape Room Activity on its own.
