Students will practice using common angle relationships to find measures of angles as they rotate through 10 stations with this “Math Lib” Activity. Students must have an understanding of vertical angles, complementary angles, supplementary angles, linear pairs, perpendicular lines, and angle bisectors. Angles given as algebraic expressions along with verbal descriptions are also included. This activity was designed for a high school level geometry class. The answer at each station will give them a piece to a story (who, doing what, with who, where, when, etc.).
This is a much more fun approach to multiple choice, and the students adore reading the story to the class. They get very excited to see which of their teachers is the “star” of the story.
