This is the digital version of my Rational Exponents Cut & Paste Puzzle, designed for use in Google Slides™. It’s an engaging, no-prep way for students to practice simplifying expressions with rational exponents.
Operations include the product, quotient, and power rules, and both positive and negative exponents are included. Some expressions are given in radical form, so students must convert to exponential form to simplify. Final answers are written in simplest radical form.
How It Works:
Students simplify each expression, then drag the puzzle pieces onto the template and arrange them so the edges have matching answers. When they’re finished, students can share the completed activity back with you for review. The box letters help students stay organized and make grading easier! An answer key is included.
What You’ll Receive:
Once purchased, you will receive a PDF document with a link and directions for adding the activity to your Google Drive™. You and your students will need a free Google account to access the activity. Once it’s added to your Drive, you can make copies and share the activity with your students.
Please note: Digital Google Slides™ activities are sold separately from the curriculum bundles. The printable PDF version of this activity is included in the corresponding curriculum/activity bundle, or you can purchase the printable Rational Exponents Cut & Paste Puzzle on its own.
