Students will practice evaluating functions using The Remainder Theorem (or synthetic substitution) with this Pyramid Sum Puzzle activity. All polynomial functions are given in standard form. Several polynomials include missing powers.
Simply give each student the pyramid template and set of problems. They evaluate each function using the Remainder Theorem, cut out the boxes, then paste them onto the template so that each solution is the sum of the two solutions directly above it.
