Students will practice solving exponential equations that require the use of logarithms with this fun and engaging Cross-Number Puzzle.
This activity works like a crossword puzzle, but instead of filling in letters, students fill in numbers. The puzzle includes both Across and Down problems. Students solve each equation and record their answers in the corresponding boxes. The activity is self-checking, as incorrect answers will not fit properly in the puzzle.
There are 24 total equations to solve. The activity can be completed independently or with a partner. When working in pairs, one student can complete the Across problems while the other completes the Down problems.
