This is the digital version of my Multiplying Matrices Cut & Paste Activity, designed for use in Google Slides™. This multiplying matrices digital activity is an engaging, no-prep way for students to practice multiplying matrices and determining when a product is possible.
There are twelve problems total, three of which are not possible. Students find each product, then use the sum of the elements in their product to determine where to drag it on the template. The sums give students a built-in way to self-check their answers, and the three problems with an impossible product are dragged to the side.
How It Works:
Students find each product, add the elements of the product, then drag each problem to the matching sum on the template. When they’re finished, students can share the completed activity back with you for review. The box letters help students stay organized and make grading easier! An answer key is included.
What You’ll Receive:
Once purchased, you will receive a PDF document with a link and directions for adding the activity to your Google Drive™. You and your students will need a free Google account to access the activity. Once it’s added to your Drive, you can make copies and share the activity with your students.
Please note: Digital Google Slides™ activities are sold separately from the curriculum bundles. The printable PDF version of this activity is included in the corresponding curriculum/activity bundle, or you can purchase the printable Multiplying Matrices Cut & Paste Activity on its own.
