Students will practice identifying multiple representations of linear relationships: tables, graphs, and equations with this “Triples” Activity. There are 36 total cards. Once matched, there will be 12 sets of three cards. Each set contains one table, one graph, and one equation representing the same linear relationship. There are two options for the equations: slope-intercept form and standard form. Choose the set that best matches the needs of your students. Horizontal and vertical lines included.
Students can work on their own or in teams to match the cards. Once they are finished, they can either staple their “triples” together and place in a zip-lock bag, or paste them onto a poster board. An answer key is included to ensure cards are matched together properly.
