This Multi-Step Equations Pyramid Sum Puzzle is a pyramid sum puzzle activity in which students practice solving multi-step equations with distribution and variables on both sides.

Simply give each student the template and set of problems. Students solve each equation, cut out the puzzle pieces, and arrange them on the template so that each solution equals the sum of the two solutions directly above it.

I actually used this for my students who had to have hard copy materials during the online schooling weeks due to COVID-19 as a review for solving equations. I like how it's two puzzles in one. Great review over solving multi-step equations and adding and subtracting integers.
