What format are the files in?

All files are in a PDF format; however, the PowerPoint versions of the assessments are included so you can easily make multiple versions or customize to fit your needs. Equation Editor (usually built in to PowerPoint) is required to edit these files. If your Equation Editor is incompatible with mine, simply delete my equation and insert your own. Only assessments are editable.

Will I have access to materials if they are updated?

Are videos included?

Yes, links to videos (on YouTube) of each lesson in the unit are included. Videos were created by fellow teachers for their students using the guided notes and shared in March 2020 when schools closed with no notice. Please watch through first before sharing with your students. Many teachers still use these in emergency substitute situations.

Amazing! I like how I can print everything off for my students to put in a binder. There is plenty of space for the students to work, and there is an answer key. The units are organized and follow a well thought-out scope and sequence. I highly recommend!!

I am a 6th grade teacher but also teach advanced math (7th grade math) to my students who want to do Honors math when they move to middle school next year. When I saw functions on the pacing guide I almost cried because I struggled so much with this in school myself. But this unit was the opposite of that! I went through all the lessons myself to make sure I understood everything and could teach it, and took it very slowly with the kids, chunking it out a lot. It worked! By the end the kids were better than me at writing functions and using functions to find the slope, slope intercept, and ordered pairs. This resource is a life saver! Buy it now!
