What standards is this curriculum aligned to?

Because the standards in each state can differ, it is impossible to create a one-size fits all curriculum. Download a complete list of topics included in this curriculum to compare to your own curriculum and standards.

What format are the files in?

All files are in a PDF format; however, the PowerPoint versions of the assessments are included so you can easily make multiple versions or customize to fit your needs. Equation Editor (usually built in to PowerPoint) is required to edit these files. If your Equation Editor is incompatible with mine, simply delete my equation and insert your own. Only assessments are editable.

Will I have access to materials if they are updated?

Yes! If any changes are made to the materials, simply login and redownload from your purchases.

Are answer keys included?

Yes!

Are videos included?

Yes, links to videos (on YouTube) of each lesson in the unit are included. Videos were created by fellow teachers for their students using the guided notes and shared in March 2020 when schools closed with no notice. Please watch through first before sharing with your students. Many teachers still use these in emergency substitute situations.

This is a great unit--very organized, easy-to-understand, and provides plenty of options for notes, practice, homework, quizzes, and tests. All Things Algebra always provides resources! You can't go wrong :)

All Things Algebra is one of my favorite curriculums to use. The linear progression of the concepts, organization of the guided notes, and progressive difficulty of the practice problems makes using her resources for all spectrum of learners very straight forward. You are able to Tier the practice and assignments based on the student need by removing the problems you don't wish them to complete. (I typically did this by printing off the original and then using white out to eliminate problems.) I also love that she has the instructional videos for the notes. OMG - time saver! If a student was absent, I just had them watch the instruction video for notes and then we completed the practice problems together.

Our school gave parents the choice to send their child to school full time or participate via distance learning. This review didn't allow me to choose both. However, this product was very thorough. Students at school and at home were easily able to take notes, practice, and quiz. Google classroom and Zoom friendly. I was able to share my screen and students were able to show and explain the math process. Excellent resource. I use all the 6th-Algebra 1 resources by All Things Algebra. Thank you Gina Wilson.
