Students will practice solving quadratic equations with this set of relay puzzles. There are two versions included:
• Relay 1: Quadratic equations of the form ax² + bx + c = 0 where a = 1
• Relay 2: Quadratic equations of the form ax² + bx+ c= 0 where a > 1
Students solve the quadratic equation, then pass the larger solution to the problem in the next box. Both puzzles require that students distribute and combine like terms. Version 2 is much more challenging as it includes fractions!
