This was a fun way to review at the beginning of the year. I was able to identify students who had mastered these concepts and those who needed more instruction.

—KRISTYNA S.

I used this as a "last day" activity for a summer camp for incoming freshmen who needed some remediation before starting high school. The problems were great and everyone was engaged the whole time.

—JULIE H.

I used this as an introduction activity for my Algebra 1A class. It was a good preassessment for me to see what they remembered from 8th grade over summer. This was a better choice than a test version of preassessment because the students were much more engaged. I could hear good conversations about what students did and did not remember.
