Students will practice identifying and solving problems with angle relationships with this Pyramid Sum Puzzle activity. This includes complementary angles, supplementary angles, and vertical angles. All problems require students to solve an equation. Problems range in difficulty. This activity was written for a high school level geometry class, but could be used with advanced middle school students.
Simply give each student the template and set of problems. They solve each problem, cut out the boxes, then paste them onto the template so that each solution is the sum of the two solutions directly above it.
