This Angle Relationships Pyramid Sum Puzzle is a pyramid sum puzzle activity in which students practice identifying and applying angle relationships to solve for missing values. Topics include complementary angles, supplementary angles, and vertical angles. All problems require students to solve an equation and range in difficulty.
Simply give each student the template and set of problems. Students solve each problem, cut out the puzzle pieces, and arrange them on the template so that each solution equals the sum of the two solutions directly above it.
This activity was written for a high school-level Geometry class but could also be used with advanced middle school students.
