This multiplying and dividing radicals maze activity includes six self-checking mazes that help Algebra 1 students practice multiplying and dividing radicals. The mazes build from multiplying radicals to dividing with and without rationalizing the denominator, including rationalizing with conjugates.
How It Works:
Students solve each problem and use their answers to navigate through the maze. If they land on an answer that isn’t an option, they know right away to go back and check their work. Mazes work well as warm-ups, alternative homework assignments, classwork, or quick assessments.
